Using My Blog In The Classroom

The sky is the limit when using weblogs in the classroom, therefore I intend to use this medium in the class room to inform my students of the subject area, allowing them to feedback and create an environment that caters for the needs of every student in the class. As the teacher I intend to post course outlines, links and videos to keep the student on track with what we are covering in the class. The students will have the opportunity to share their views and concerns about the course, thus giving me a greater understanding of what each child needs and information they have found. The learning experience in my class will be a journey of enlightenment that both the students and I will travel together.

  1. Hey Bernard

I share this vision with you. I am certain your students will have fun working blogs and indeed their interest level in the subject itself should improve.

    1. Hello Kisma

Thank you for your comment. I believe we will be good facilitators of learning when we return to the classroom. Once our focus is on meeting the needs of our students we will be contributing to the development of our society.

  2. Hey there
I totally agree having a blog to engage students interest is paramount in this day and age. I hope in the future our students will take with them what we intend to give.

    1. Hello Melissa

Thank you for commenting on my blog. I believe many of our students will see how much we care and respond positively. The students are much smarter than we give them credit for. They know when we put out the effort to help them and when we don't. Therefore they will see us as partners in their learning and not their enemies.
